Success stories

Behind every great book is a partnership built on trust, vision and determination. I am proud to champion writers whose stories captivate both publishers and readers and help them take those stories from draft to deal, and from manuscript to market.

Here you’ll find some of the journeys I’ve been privileged to share in recent years: books that found the perfect publishing home, debut authors who stepped onto the literary stage with confidence and voices that continue to resonate across the globe.

Multiple international deals for debut thriller

I recently sold a brilliant high-concept dystopian novel called Sanctuary by James Cleary in the UK, US, France, Germany and Italy. The novel is also receiving significant film interest. James and I worked on this together from concept to completion. He is now working on his next idea.

Prizes won by ingenious children’s writer, Serena Molloy

One of the projects of which I am most proud is helping to bring to market the fabulous work of Serena Molloy, a gifted children’s writer from Wexford, Ireland who is published by Hodder, Hachette.

Serena’s novels-in-verse, Wider Than the Sea and The Tree that Sang to Me deal sensitively with issues experienced by children including neurodiversity, dyslexia and difficulties at home. These beautiful, short novels will be a comfort to many children. I was absolutely delighted when Serena won the Eilís Dillon Award, KPMG Children's Books Ireland Awards 2024 and was nominated for the UK Children’s Books of the Year in the novel-in-verse category.
